Markus Boguslavsky intercepted a pass and would set up Tyler Kreklewich (assist to Markus Boguslavsky @9:09) who would snap a shot over the blocker of Mustangs (starting) goaltender Michael Barabash. In a penalty free period, the shots would favor Calgary 15-10.

Calgary would get three power plays in the third but was unable to capitalize while Drumheller would only get one chance with the extra attacker.
The Mustangs started overtime with the power play and get a couple of chances but couldn't beat Virostek.
